Bicho-Bicho




Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup water, lukewarm
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp cinnamon+ 2 tbsp sugar for coating
oil for deep frying

Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt and butter. Mix well.
2. Add egg and lukewarm water into the mixture and mix.
3. In a floured board, knead the dough until smooth and elastic, for about 7 minutes.
4. Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover and let rise for 1-2 hours.
5. Separate the dough into small sized balls, roll each like a log and twist the ends together.
6. Let rise again for 30 minutes before frying in oil until golden brown.
7. Coat with cinnamon and sugar mixture while its hot.
