Homemade Falafel

  








Ingredient:

2 cans green peas

1 medium sized onion

4 cloves garlic

1/4 cup parsley,  chopped

2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 pcs pita bread


Directions:

Mix all the ingredients in a blender until fine in texture. Add 1 cup breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly then chill for 2 hours. Round like a ball, using hands then heat oil in the pan. Fry it in medium high heat till golden brown.

Put 3 pieces of falafel balls in a pita bread, put a sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, mixed salad, lettuce or any variety of vegetable of your choice, wrap and roll. Best served hot.
