Orange Sorbet




Ingredients:
2 x 15ml spoons lemon juice
1 x 5 ml spoon liquid sweetener
Grated rind of 1 orange
170g can unsweetened concentrated orange juice
1 egg white
Orange slices

Directions:
Mix together the lemon juice and sweetener and make up to 300ml (1/2 pint) with water.
Add the orange rind and orange juice and pour into an ice cube tray. Freeze until just firm. Turn out into a mixing bowl and mash with a fork until the crystals are broken down. Whisk the egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture with a metal spoon. Return to the ice tray and freeze until firm. Soften slightly in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before serving. Finish with twist of orange.
