Shiitake Stir-Fry





Ingredients:
1/2 lb medium shiitake mushrooms, stems removed
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp chopped dried hot pepper

Direction:
1. Holding a sharp knife at a 45 degree angle, score caps of mushrooms with diagonal cuts.
2. Heat oil in medium skillet or wok. Add mushrooms and stir-fry over medium heat about 3 minutes or until tender.
3. Add soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir-fry about 10 to 15 minutes or until all liquid has evaporated.
4. Sprinkle hot pepper onto mushrooms.
