Puto Cuchinta











Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tbsp annatto powder diluted in 1/2 cup water
1 cup water
1 tbsp lye water
1 cup freshly grated coconut (garnish, optional)


Directions:
 Mix all ingredients , add annatto water and lye water. Mix thoroughly, strain to remove slumps, pour into moulds and steam for 25 to 30 minutes. Once cooked, let it cool before removing from the moulds. Garnish with freshly grated coconut.
