Camaron Rebosado










Ingredients:
500 g prawns
2 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
For Batter:
2 whole eggs
1 1/2 cup cold water
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Directions:
Peel the prawns and remove the head and its veins, keeping the tail intact. Marinate for an hour. Meanwhile. prepare the batter by mixing water and eggs in a bowl, then whisk all the batter ingredients aside from breadcrumbs. Once marinated, dip the prawn by holding the tail, making sure its coated totally then dip in breadcrumbs, for crispiness . Deep fry in oil till golden brown and crispy.
