Easy Rolled Chicken Mousakhan

 




Ingredients:

4 pc chicken breast , chopped into thin strips

4 cloves garlic chopped

4 very large onion, chopped

1/4 cup olive oil

3 tbsp sumac spice

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup pine nuts, roasted (optional)

Very thin Pita bread or Tortilla bread 

Directions:

Fry onions in olive oil until caramelized, then add garlic, cook for 1 minute. Add the chicken. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Mix together then add sumac spice and pine nuts. Cook for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Season with more salt and pepper and sumac, according to your taste. Let the mixture cool down before rolling in bread. Put 2 tablespoon of the mixture on the thin bread and roll tightly. Arrange in a baking tray, sprinkle a little olive oil and sumac powder on top of the bread and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on the oven used  or until the bread is browned, crispy and a bit toasted. Serve with yoghurt.
