Ingredients:
8 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp lime zest
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Mix together the egg yolks and 2 whole eggs. Add condensed milk , evaporated milk and sugar. In 1/4 cup water, add the lime zest and squeeze to take out the essence of lime. Strain it and add to the egg mixture.
Prepare 4 molder for the flan. Put 2 tablespoon of sugar on each molder and cook in slow fire. Melt it till it become reddish in color , spread the syrup on each molder and set aside. Let it cool.
Strain the egg mixture and pour on the prepared molder, about 3/4 full. Cover with foil or cloth.
Put water in a steamer, make sure to boil the water before putting the molder. Cook for 30 minutes.
Keep it cool before putting in the refrigerator.
