Ingredients:
500gm beef, cut thinly
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
1 medium carrots, sliced thinly
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 orange bell pepper, sliced
5 cloves garlic, chopped finely
1 inch fresh garlic, chopped finely
2 medium onion, cut thinly
2 green onion , cut
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp ground black pepper
soy sauce, according to taste
oyster sauce, according to taste
1 tbsp sesame oil
cooking oil/olive oil
Directions:
1. Slice the beef thinly, marinate with 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tsp minced garlic,1 tsp grated ginger, 1/4 tsp chili flakes, black pepper and set aside. Keep in a refrigerator, covered for half an hour while preparing the vegetables.
2. Peel and cut the onions into thin slices.
3. Wash the vegetables, and sliced each accordingly.
4. Heat 2 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add the marinated beef and let it cook for at least 10 minutes or until meat is cooked and most of the water absorbed. Remove from the pan and set aside.
5. In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and saute onion.Let it cook until translucent. Remove from the pan and set aside.
6. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil again, saute the remaining garlic and ginger. Add carrots, bell peppers and broccoli. Saute until half cooked, then add cooked beef and onions.
7. Season with 2 tablespoon soy sauce and 2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, the remaining 1/4 chili powder, if you want it spicy. Saute for 5 minutes, then add green onions. Add sesame oil in the last minute of cooking , mix well and serve hot.
