Crab and Corn Soup

 




Ingredients:

10 sticks crab meat imitation

1 can creamed corn

2 tablespoon butter

4 cloves of garlic, chopped finely

1 medium white onion, chopped

1 liter water or chicken stock

1 shrimp cube or 1 tablespoon fish sauce

1/4 cup slurry, (2 tablespoon cornstarch dissolve in water)

salt and pepper, to taste 

2 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander or green onion (optional)


Direction:

1. Cut each crab sticks into 3 parts, and separate it into small strips.

2. In a medium pot, heat butter and add onion and garlic. 

3. Put crab meat then add chicken stock.

4. Let it simmer for 5 minutes then add creamed corn.

5. Keep it boiling for another 3 minutes while stirring continuously, season with fish sauce or shrimp cube, salt and pepper.

6. Add slurry, mix till creamy. Add chopped fresh coriander or green onion.

7. Serve hot.
