Ingredients:
1 kilo squid, white only
1 cup liquid milk, or more
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Directions;
Wash the white squid thoroughly, cut into round rings and soak into milk and lemon. Marinate in a refrigerator for 1 hour or more, covered.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch and add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the squid from the marinated liquid and toss in the flour and starch mixture, until fully coated.
Deep fry in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve hot with catsup or any sauce you desire.
